Headteacher's Welcome

Grassington Primary School is located in the centre of the village of Grassington, the hub of the beautiful Upper Wharfedale region of the Yorkshire Dales.

We are a small, friendly Church of England Primary School with a caring ethos based upon Christian values. We may be small but we don’t let size get in the way of our ideas or ambitions for our children.

As well as giving our children the essential tools for learning and excelling through a rich and vibrant curriculum, we are committed to enabling all our children to grow and develop in all areas of life so that they can fulfil their potential and realise their dreams.

Our exciting website is here to help you find out about us and all the wonderful things we do to make learning fun. It is also a place for our pupils to celebrate and share their achievements and to help stimulate their future learning.

We warmly welcome you to our vibrant and happy school. If you require any more information or would like to visit, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Mrs J Morton Lee (Headteacher)

Our Christian Ethos

Our 7Cs code encourages the children to achieve high moral standards through their concern and mutual respect for others.

Courage, Care, Co-operation, Confidence, Communication, Consideration and Courtesy.

We strive to uphold these values in everything we do and the children take responsibility for recognising and rewarding these values in each other.
